Relapse is a part of recovery.
This is so important to remember.
It is OKAY if you relapse. It doesn’t erase all the hard work you’ve done. You haven’t failed. It doesn’t make you weak. Don’t give up, and don’t give in. Take a deep breath and try again tomorrow.
good thing to remember. it’s a long process. Recovering from eating disorders generally takes a minimum of 4-7 years, a MINIMUM. And hating your body, I think, is an epidemic and a form of self-harm too. It IS recovery. and it takes time to develop new habits and new ways of thinking.
